It is hard to enjoy your bees if you are bothered by mosquitoes or wasps. Here in my area they come in the evenings and bite the crap out of you. The bottle trap in this link works also for wasps. All you have to do is use the water liquid from a can of tuna in the pop bottle, nothing else is needed. For wasps, only cover the bottom half of the container.
If your wasps are wide spread, place a small open container of tuna water (not oil) with some combat roach bait away from your bees. The wasps eat it and take it to the nest. Bees don't go for the tuna. No more wasps.

Welcome!
There are multiple hives and plans with the same basic name here. Use the search bar at the top left of this page if you do not see exactly what you want and came here by a search engine. Use the "Older Posts" hyperlink at bottom for more hives. For a larger photo, click on the photo. Got Small Hive Beetles? Use the traps in our Build It Yourself section and get the upper hand.
