CDB Hive

Congested Districts Board (CDB) hive was an Irish hive that had a four inch square vent in the floor and held 11 combs. This was considered a double wall hive, the top had a bee cone for a vent and fitted with a quilt over the top combs. Designed to use the Abbott frame.
